Derek Brown Autographs
Derek Brown is a former football player who played for the University of Nebraska from 1991 to 1995. Brown began his high school football career in Arkansas where he led his team to two state championships. He was heavily recruited by several universities across the country, but ultimately chose the University of Nebraska to continue his football career.
During his time at Nebraska, Brown became one of the most dominant defensive players in college football. In his senior year, he recorded 47 solo tackles and was named an All-American. He also helped lead his team to three national championship games, winning two of them. He finished his college career as Nebraska's all-time leader in sacks with 29.5.
After college, Brown was drafted in the second round of the 1996 NFL Draft by the New York Giants. He played in the NFL for six years, primarily as a defensive end for the Giants and the San Francisco 49ers. Brown had a successful NFL career, recording 27 sacks and 139 tackles. He retired from the NFL in 2002 and continues to be recognized as one of the best players in the history of Nebraska football.
