DeVonta Smith Autographs
DeVonta Smith is a professional American football player who currently plays as a wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He started his football career as a high school athlete in Louisiana, where he played both offense and defense. Smith transferred to Amite High School in Louisiana in 2015 and played as a wide receiver, becoming a high school All-American in his senior year. Upon graduating from high school in 2017, Smith committed to playing college football for the University of Alabama.
At Alabama, Smith continued to impress as a wide receiver, becoming one of the top players in college football. He played in all 14 of Alabama's games during his freshman year and caught eight passes for 160 yards and three touchdowns. In his sophomore year, he played in all 15 games, catching 42 passes for 693 yards and six touchdowns. Smith excelled in his junior and senior years, catching 68 passes for 1,256 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2019, and 117 passes for 1,856 yards and 23 touchdowns in 2020, earning him unanimous All-American honors, the Maxwell Award as the best college football player, and the Heisman Trophy as the top player in college football in 2020.
After his stellar college career, Smith entered the 2021 NFL draft and was selected 10th overall by the Philadelphia Eagles. In his rookie season, he has continued to excel as a wide receiver, catching 49 passes for 634 yards and three touchdowns in his first ten games. Smith's performances have earned him praise as one of the top young players in the NFL, and he looks set for a long and successful career in American football.
