Dewey Selmon Autograph
Dewey Selmon was an American Football player who played primarily as a defensive tackle. Born on August 26, 1953, in Eufaula, Oklahoma, he went on to become one of the most celebrated football stars of his time. He attended the University of Oklahoma, where he played for the Sooners from 1972-1975. Selmon was part of the legendary Oklahoma team that won back-to-back national championships in 1974 and 1975. After retiring from professional football, Selmon returned to the University of Oklahoma, where he earned his Master's degree in Business Administration. He became an Associate Athletic Director for the University of Oklahoma, where he served from 1986 to 1991. In 1993, Selmon was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. He passed away on September 5, 2013, at the age of 60.
