Dick Lynch Autographs
Dick Lynch was a well-known American football player, born on September 3, 1936, in New York. He raised in Long Island, and there he started playing football at St. Pius X High School. Lynch went to the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, and he played as a cornerback from 1954 to 1956. His teammates saw him as a gifted athlete who was destined to make it to the professional league.
In 1958, Lynch was drafted by the New York Giants and played with them for ten years. He was an accomplished cornerback- an all-pro player who stood out for his toughness, agility, and intelligence on the field. During his career, he played in three NFL Championship games and one Super Bowl. However, Lynch is best remembered for his skills as a punt returner. He had an unstoppable ability to catch punts and run them back to the endzone, earning him several Pro-Bowl selections.
After retiring from football, Lynch embarked on a career in broadcasting, where he became the voice of the New York Giants for three decades until his death in 2008. He was awarded numerous accolades during his career, including the Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award by the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Dick Lynch would forever be remembered as an outstanding football player and a true legend in the sport, with his name etched in the annals of football history.
