Drew Henson Autographs
Drew Henson was a former football quarterback and third baseman. He was born on February 13, 1980, in San Diego, California. He started his football career as a ball boy for his father's alma mater, the University of Michigan. Henson attended Brighton High School, where he played as a quarterback and led his team to the state championship.
In his college career, Henson played for the University of Michigan from 1998 to 2000. He was on track to become one of the best college quarterbacks before he left the school to play for the New York Yankees. He played for the Dallas Cowboys and started only one game against the Arizona Cardinals, where he completed 4/12 passes and was sacked four times. After that, he bounced around between various teams, including the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions, but failed to climb to the top of the depth chart.
In 2004, Henson retired from football and returned to baseball, joining the Yankees organization once again. In 2008, he signed with the Toronto Blue Jays, but he was released the following year due to strong competition. Henson's career highlights include leading Michigan to an Orange Bowl victory and being selected as the USA Today Offensive Player of the Year in high school. Drew is a prime example of someone who excelled in both football and baseball but failed to reach the top levels due to defensive shortcomings.
