Early Doucet Autographs
Early Doucet is a former American football wide receiver who played at both the collegiate and professional levels. Born on October 28, 1985 in St. Martinville, Louisiana, Doucet showed an early passion for football and began playing at a young age. He attended St. Martinville Senior High School where he was a standout on the football team and earned All-State honors.
In 2004, Doucet enrolled at Louisiana State University (LSU) where he continued to play football for the LSU Tigers. He quickly established himself as a valuable asset to the team, earning recognition as SEC Freshman of the Year in 2005. Throughout his college career, Doucet made numerous critical plays including catching a game-winning touchdown pass in the 2007 National Championship game against Ohio State. Doucet ultimately finished his college career with 160 receptions for 1,943 yards and 20 touchdowns, leaving him as the fifth all-time leading receiver in LSU history.
After his college career, Doucet was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He spent four seasons with the team, primarily serving as a slot receiver and strong special teams player. During his time with the Cardinals, Doucet recorded 139 receptions for 1,491 yards and seven touchdowns. He eventually retired from professional football in 2013 after a short stint with the Seattle Seahawks. Despite his relatively short professional career, Doucet is widely considered to be one of the greatest wide receivers in LSU history and a highly respected figure in Louisiana football.
