Ed Marinaro Autographs

Ed Marinaro is a former American football running back, who had a successful career in both college and professional sports. Marinaro was born on March 31, 1950, in New York City, and graduated from Cornell University in 1972. During his college years at Cornell, Marinaro was a standout athlete, winning three consecutive Ivy League Player of the Year awards and finishing second in Heisman Trophy voting in 1971.
After college, Ed Marinaro was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the second round of the 1972 NFL Draft. He played for the Vikings until 1975, then joined the New York Jets for two seasons, before ending his NFL career with the Seattle Seahawks in 1978. Although he never won a Super Bowl, Marinaro was respected for his hard work and dedication on the field, finishing his NFL career with over 3,000 rushing yards, 29 touchdowns and 135 receptions for 1,296 yards.
After retiring from professional football, Ed Marinaro stayed involved in sports, becoming a football analyst for CBS and ESPN, as well as acting in TV shows and movies. Throughout his career, Marinaro has been recognized for his contributions to American football, being inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1991 and the Cornell Athletic Hall of Fame in 1981. Today, at 71 years old, he remains a prominent figure in the sporting world, inspiring future athletes to work hard and follow their dreams.
