Emery Moorehead Autographs

Emery Moorehead was an American football player who played as a tight end in the National Football League (NFL) for over a decade. He was born on April 29, 1954, in Tupelo, Mississippi, and went on to attend the University of Colorado, where he played college football. At Colorado, he was an accomplished player as he set a school record for the most receptions by a tight end with 59, which stood for sixteen years.
Moorehead began his professional football career when he was selected by the New York Giants in the seventh round of the 1977 NFL Draft. He spent the first five years of his career with the Giants, during which he caught 85 passes for 1,044 yards and five touchdowns. In 1982, he was signed by the Chicago Bears and played for the team for six seasons. He was part of the Bears' 1985 Super Bowl-winning team and made a crucial touchdown catch in the game.
After retiring from football, Moorehead worked as a high school football coach and later as a head coach for a minor league football team. He has also been involved in various charitable activities, including the establishment of the Emery Moorehead Scholarship Fund, which supports student-athletes in his hometown of Tupelo, Mississippi. Moorehead's contributions to the NFL, particularly during his time with the Giants and the Bears, have solidified his place as one of the most notable tight ends in the league's history.
