Emmanuel Acho is a former American football linebacker who played for several National Football League (NFL) teams. He was born on November 10, 1990, in Dallas, Texas, and raised in a family of athletes. Acho attended St. Mark's School of Texas, where he excelled in football, basketball, and track and field. Acho played college football for the Texas Longhorns from 2008 to 2011. During his time at Texas, he was a standout linebacker, earning numerous awards and accolades, including the Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Award and the Big 12 Conference Football Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft, where he showed promise in his rookie season.
