Eric Weddle Autographs
Eric Steven Weddle is a former American football safety who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons. Born on January 4, 1985, in Fontana, California, Weddle spent his college years playing for the University of Utah Utes, where he was a three-time first-team All-Mountain West Conference selection. Weddle was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft, and he quickly established himself as one of the league's premier safeties.
Weddle enjoyed a seven-year stint with the Chargers, where he earned two All-Pro selections and was named to the Pro Bowl in 2011 and 2013. In 2016, Weddle signed a four-year, $26 million contract with the Baltimore Ravens. He continued his outstanding play in Baltimore, earning three consecutive Pro Bowl nods from 2016 to 2018. He was also named a First-Team All-Pro in 2016. Throughout his career, Weddle proved himself as a reliable tackler and playmaker, and he was known for his intelligence and leadership abilities on the field.
In February 2020, Weddle announced his retirement from the NFL. Over the course of his 13-year career, he amassed 1,179 tackles, 9.5 sacks, 29 interceptions, and 78 passes defensed. Weddle's contributions to the game of American football are undeniable, and he continues to be revered by fans and fellow athletes alike.
