Eric Wood Autographs
Eric Wood is a former American football center who played in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons. He was born on November 18, 1986, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and attended Elder High School. Wood played collegiate football for the University of Louisville, where he was a standout offensive lineman. In the 2009 NFL draft, he was selected in the first round, 28th overall, by the Buffalo Bills.
Wood played for the Buffalo Bills from 2009 to 2017, where he established himself as one of the best centers in the league. He started in 120 games for the team and was a three-time team captain. Wood was also named to the Pro Bowl in 2015, which was a testament to his exceptional play on the field. Despite his great success, Wood was forced to retire from football after being diagnosed with a career-ending neck injury in 2018.
Throughout his career, Wood was known for his toughness, leadership, and intelligence on the field. His knowledge of the game allowed him to make correct reads and help his team achieve success. Wood was also involved in many charitable causes during his time in Buffalo, including raising money for cancer research and supporting local community projects. His contributions to the Bills and the city of Buffalo will not be forgotten.
