Eric Zeier Autographs
Eric Zeier is a former American football player who played as a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons. Zeier was born on September 6, 1972, in Marietta, Georgia. He started his football career at Marietta High School, where he played as a quarterback and led the team to the Georgia AAAA state championship game in his senior year.
Zeier went on to play football at the University of Georgia from 1991 to 1994. He became the starting quarterback during his freshman year and led the team to a 9-3 record, including a victory over Ohio State in the 1993 Florida Citrus Bowl. Zeier set several records during his college career, including most touchdown passes in a season (24) and most career completions (838). In 1994, he was named First-Team All-SEC and Third-Team All-American.
The Cleveland Browns selected Zeier in the third round of the 1995 NFL Draft. He played for the Browns from 1995 to 1998, starting in 25 games and throwing for 3,019 yards and 11 touchdowns. Zeier also played for the Baltimore Ravens from 1999 to 2001, where he was primarily a backup quarterback. He ended his NFL career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002. Overall, Zeier played in 64 NFL games, completing 610 of 1,118 passes for 5,982 yards and 37 touchdowns.
