Erik Ainge Autographs
Erik Ainge is a former American football quarterback who played for the University of Tennessee from 2004 to 2007. During his college career, Ainge amassed a total of 8,700 passing yards, 72 touchdowns, and 35 interceptions. He led the Volunteers to two SEC Eastern Division Championships and a victory in the 2007 Outback Bowl. Ainge was also named to the All-SEC Second Team in 2007.
In the 2008 NFL Draft, Ainge was selected by the New York Jets in the fifth round. He spent three years with the Jets, primarily serving as a backup quarterback behind Brett Favre and Mark Sanchez. Ainge was released by the Jets in 2011 due to health concerns stemming from a history of drug abuse. In 2013, Ainge retired from football altogether.
Since retiring from football, Ainge has become an entrepreneur and public speaker, sharing his story of addiction and recovery. He also hosts a podcast called The Erik Ainge Show, where he discusses sports, politics, and news. Ainge’s football career may have been cut short, but he has found a new calling in life and continues to inspire others with his message of hope and perseverance.
