Erric Pegram Autographs
Erric Demont Pegram, born on January 7, 1969, in Dallas, Texas, is a former American football running back who played seven seasons in the National Football League (NFL) from 1991 to 1997. After playing high school football at Hillcrest High School, Pegram attended the University of North Texas, where he earned second-team all-Southland Conference honors in 1989 and amassed 1,594 all-purpose yards as a senior in 1990.
Pegram was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the sixth round (145th overall) of the 1991 NFL Draft. His best season came in 1993 with the Falcons, when he rushed for 1,185 yards and three touchdowns. In 1995, Pegram joined the Pittsburgh Steelers as a free agent, leading the team in rushing with 813 yards and helping them reach Super Bowl XXX. During his time with the Steelers, Pegram became the first "scat back" to play a major role at running back in the franchise's history.
After his stint with the Steelers, Pegram split time between the New York Giants and San Diego Chargers in 1997 before ending his NFL career. Throughout his seven-year NFL career, Pegram accumulated 3,519 rushing yards, 20 rushing touchdowns, and 1,244 receiving yards. Following his retirement, Pegram settled in Naples, Florida, where he lives with his wife Michelle and their four daughters.
