George Ratterman Autograph
George Ratterman was an American football player who was born on November 12, 1926, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended the University of Notre Dame and played as their quarterback from 1944 to 1946. After college, he was drafted by the Brooklyn Dodgers in the second round of the 1947 NFL Draft. However, he did not play for the Dodgers and instead joined the Buffalo Bills of the All-America Football Conference (AAFC) in 1949. More about George Ratterman

After his football career, Ratterman became a lawyer and was involved in politics. He served as a city councilman and president of the Cincinnati Board of Education. Ratterman died at the age of 81 on November 3, 2007, in Cincinnati. He had a remarkable football career and was considered one of the best quarterbacks of his time.
