Howard Cross is a former American football player who played as a tight end for the New York Giants in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons. He was born on July 30, 1967, in Huntsville, Alabama, and grew up in a family that valued education and hard work. After a successful college career, Cross was selected by the New York Giants in the sixth round of the 1992 NFL Draft. He quickly established himself as a valuable member of the Giants' offense and played an important role in their Super Bowl victory in 1991. Over the course of his career, he played in 207 regular-season games, caught 201 passes for 2,194 yards, and scored 17 touchdowns.
