Hugh Millen is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) from 1986 to 1996. Born on December 30, 1963, in Santa Ana, California, Millen attended the University of Washington and played for the Washington Huskies football team from 1982 to 1985. He was a starting quarterback for the team during his senior year and led them to a 12-2 record and a victory in the Orange Bowl. Millen's professional career started with the Rams, where he played from 1986 to 1989. He had a limited playing time in his rookie season but became the team's starting quarterback in 1987. Millen led the Rams to a 10-6 record that season, which included a victory over the Dallas Cowboys in the playoffs. He also helped the Rams reach the playoffs in 1989 but was traded to the Atlanta Falcons in the offseason. Millen played for the Falcons until 1992 before joining the New England Patriots, where he spent three seasons. Millen's last NFL team was the Denver Broncos, where he played in 1996 before retiring from professional football.
