Jack Kemp Autographs
Jack Kemp was an NFL quarterback for 13 seasons, serving for teams such as the Pittsburgh Steelers, the San Diego Chargers, and the Buffalo Bills. He’s best remembered for his years playing for the Bills, where he helped lead the team to the AFL championship in 1964 and was named the league’s most valuable player. Kemp also led the Bills to two other AFL title games in 1965 and 1966, though both times they lost.
During his time as a quarterback, Kemp was known for his leadership on the field, his ability to throw long passes, and his toughness. His political views were also well-known, and he was a vocal supporter of small government and conservative policies. In 1981, President Reagan appointed Kemp as his Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, and he later became a Republican Congressman from New York where he was an active voice for conservative values.
Kemp was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1992, marking his contributions to the sport. He continued to stay involved in politics and public life even after he retired from football, and he remained a voice for conservative policies until his death in 2009. Kemp was an inspiration to many, and his contributions to football and politics will continue to be remembered for generations to come.
