Jack Youngblood is a former American professional football player who is widely regarded as one of the greatest defensive ends in the history of the sport. Born on January 26, 1950, in Jacksonville, Florida, Youngblood grew up with a passion for football and began playing the sport in high school. He went on to attend the University of Florida, where he played as a defensive end for the Florida Gators football team from 1968 to 1970, earning All-American honors in his senior year.
