Jake Reed's NFL career spanned over a decade, which he spent playing for teams like the Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, and Carolina Panthers. He made his professional debut in 1991 with the Vikings, where he spent nine seasons and amassed 6,999 receiving yards and 33 touchdown receptions. He spent two seasons with the Saints before joining the Panthers in 2001, where he ended his football career. He was one of the most reliable receivers in the NFL during his tenure, and he led the league in receiving yards in 1994, with a total of 1,320 yards.
Following his retirement, Jake Reed established the Jake Reed’s Football Camp, which is designed to help young children develop their football talents. He also works as a color analyst for select Viking games on WCCO radio.
