Jamar Fletcher Autographs
Jamar Fletcher is a former American football player who was born on May 7, 1979, in St. Louis, Missouri. He went to Hazelwood East High School in Missouri, where he joined the school's football team. Jamar was an outstanding player, and his excellent skills earned him all-state honors. He went on to play college football at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he played for the Wisconsin Badgers football team from 1998 to 2000.
After an impressive college football career, Fletcher was selected in the first round (26th overall) of the 2001 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins. He played for the Dolphins for three seasons, earning a reputation as a reliable and tough cornerback. In 2004, he signed with the San Diego Chargers, where he played for two seasons before joining the Detroit Lions in 2006. Fletcher's final NFL stint was with the Cincinnati Bengals, where he played for one season in 2007.
Throughout his six-year NFL career, Jamar Fletcher played in 85 games, starting in 10 games and intercepting five passes. He was a highly-respected player in the league and earned several honors, including being named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year in 2000 while playing for the Wisconsin Badgers. Fletchers' impressive on-field achievements and dedication to the sport cemented his legacy as one of the most iconic defensive players in NFL history. Today, Fletcher is retired from the NFL but dedicates his time to mentoring young athletes who aspire to follow in his footsteps.
