Jay Feely is a former American Football placekicker who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 14 seasons. He was born on May 23, 1976, in Odessa, Florida, and he attended Jesuit High School in Tampa. Feely began his NFL career in 2001 when he signed with the Atlanta Falcons as a free agent. He played for the Falcons for two seasons before moving on to play for the New York Giants in 2003. He played for the Giants for three seasons and then played for four other teams over the course of his career, including the Miami Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals, Chicago Bears, and New York Jets. Throughout his career, Feely established himself as one of the most reliable kickers in the league, earning a reputation for making clutch kicks in critical situations.

During his time in the NFL, Feely achieved a number of personal and team accomplishments. He made the Pro Bowl team in 2010 as a member of the Arizona Cardinals, and he was the NFC special teams player of the week twice during the 2005 season. He also helped lead the Cardinals to the Super Bowl in 2009, where they narrowly lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
