Jerame Tuman Autographs
Jerame Tuman is a former American football tight end who played in the National Football League (NFL) for ten seasons. Born on December 29, 1976, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was raised in a family with a strong football background. His father, Tom Tuman, played college football at West Virginia University and professionally for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1970s.
Tuman played high school football at nearby Penn Hills High School, where he was a standout athlete. He then went on to play college football at the University of Michigan, where he was a four-year letterman and a two-time All-Big Ten Conference selection. After graduating in 1998, Tuman was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fifth round of the NFL Draft. He played for the Steelers for six seasons, from 1999 to 2004, and was a key contributor on their Super Bowl-winning team in 2005. Tuman also played for the Arizona Cardinals for two seasons and finished his NFL career with the Carolina Panthers in 2008.
Throughout his career, Tuman was known for his blocking ability and his versatility as a receiver. He was a reliable target in the passing game, with 103 receptions for 965 yards and nine touchdowns. Tuman was also a durable player, appearing in 139 regular-season games and 12 playoff games during his career. After retiring from the NFL, Tuman worked as a football coach at the high school and college levels, including a stint as an assistant coach at his alma mater, the University of Michigan.
