Jerry Tagge Autographs
Jerry Tagge is a former American football quarterback who was born on April 17, 1950, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. After a standout high school career in Nebraska, Tagge went on to play college football at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. During his time as the starting quarterback for the Cornhuskers, he led the team to consecutive conference championships, and in 1971, they won the national championship. Tagge made a lasting impact in Nebraska football and is widely considered one of the greatest quarterbacks to have played for the program.
After his successful college career, Jerry Tagge was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the 1972 NFL Draft. With a solid arm and good decision-making skills, Tagge was seen as a promising quarterback prospect in the NFL. However, he struggled to make an impact during his three seasons with the Packers, as he was used sparsely and only recorded two touchdown passes in his NFL career.
