Jethro Pugh was an American football player who was born on June 16, 1944, in Windsor, North Carolina. He played college football at Elizabeth City State University before being drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 11th round of the 1965 NFL Draft. Pugh played for the Cowboys from 1965 to 1978, and during his career, he was one of the most underrated defensive linemen in the league. More about Jethro Pugh

Pugh was known for his toughness and durability, playing in 183 consecutive games, which was a Cowboys franchise record at the time.
