Jim Houston was a former American Football linebacker who played for the Cleveland Browns from 1960 to 1972. He was born on November 3, 1937, in Massillon, Ohio, and attended Ohio State University, where he played football for the Buckeyes. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the first round of the 1960 NFL Draft and went on to become one of the team's most dominant players in the 1960s. More about Jim Houston

During his 13-year career with the Browns, Houston was a six-time Pro Bowl selection and twice named First-team All-Pro. He was an integral part of the Browns' defense, helping them win the NFL championship in 1964 and reach the playoffs eight times during his tenure. Houston was also known for his durability, playing in all 196 regular-season games during his career and never missing a game due to injury.
