Jim Langer Autographs
Jim Langer was born on May 16, 1948, in Royalton, Minnesota. He attended South Dakota State University and played college football for the Jackrabbits, where he was a three-time All-North Central Conference selection. Langer was also a wrestler in college and his training on the mat made him an excellent blocker on the football field.
Langer had a highly successful professional football career that spanned 12 seasons from 1970 to 1981. He played for the Miami Dolphins, winning two Super Bowl championships in 1973 and 1974. Langer was a six-time Pro Bowler and a three-time First-Team All-Pro. He was known for his toughness, durability, and intelligence on the field, having never missed a game in his entire professional career.
After retiring from the NFL, Langer became a coach and pursued a career in education. He returned to South Dakota State University and served as an associate athletic director and professor of physical education. Langer was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1987, and his legacy is still celebrated among football fans today for his contributions to the sport both on and off the field.
