Jimmy Orr was a star wide receiver in American Football during the 1950s and 1960s. He was born in Seneca, South Carolina on January 4, 1935, and played college football at the University of Georgia. Orr was a standout in college and was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in 1957. He spent two seasons with the Rams before being traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1959. More about Jimmy Orr

Orr's best years came during his time with the Baltimore Colts from 1961-1970. He was a key part of the Colts' legendary offense, which featured stars like quarterback Johnny Unitas and running back Lenny Moore. Orr played with the Colts during their 1958 NFL Championship victory and also in Super Bowl III in which they lost to the New York Jets. He was known for his speed and ability to make spectacular catches, and finished his career with 400 receptions for 7,914 yards and 66 touchdowns.
