Joe Gilliam Autograph
Joe Gilliam was an American football quarterback who played a significant role in the sport during the 1970s. Born on December 29, 1950, in Nashville, Tennessee, Gilliam started playing football in his youth and went on to attend Tennessee State University. In 1972, he was drafted as the 279th overall pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers and became the first Black quarterback to start a season opener for the team. More about Joe Gilliam
