John David Booty Autographs
John David Booty was born on February 3, 1985, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was a standout quarterback at Evangel Christian Academy, where he led the team to a 58-2 record and four state championships. Booty was heavily recruited and eventually chose to attend the University of Southern California (USC) where he played for the Trojans from 2004 to 2007.
During his time at USC, Booty led the Trojans to a Pac-10 championship and a Rose Bowl victory in 2006. He was named the Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year in 2006 and also earned All-American honors. Booty finished his college career with 6,125 passing yards, 54 touchdowns, and a passer rating of 137.2.
After graduation, Booty was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He spent three seasons with the Vikings but was mainly a backup quarterback. Booty also spent time with the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans but never played in a regular-season NFL game. Despite not achieving great success in the NFL, Booty will always be remembered as a standout quarterback at USC and a high school legend in Louisiana.
