Jon Morris Autographs
Jon Morris was an American football center who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 11 seasons from 1964 to 1974. He was born on August 13, 1942, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, and started his football career at Holyoke High School. Morris played college football at Boston College, where he was a standout player and was inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame in 1982.
In 1964, Jon Morris was drafted by the Boston Patriots in the fourth round of the AFL Draft. He made an immediate impact and was named to the All-Rookie team in his first season. Morris played 8 seasons with the Patriots before joining the Detroit Lions in 1972, where he played for 2 seasons. He finished his career with the Chicago Bears, where he played one season before retiring in 1975.
Throughout his career, Jon Morris was regarded as one of the best centers in the league. He was a six-time Pro Bowl selection and was named to the AFL All-Time Team in 1970. Morris was also a versatile player who was able to play both center and guard positions, which made him an asset to every team he played for. In 1993, he was inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame, which recognized his contributions to the team and the sport of American football.
