Jordan Matthews Autographs
Jordan Matthews is a former American football wide receiver who was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Born on July 16, 1992, in Huntsville, Alabama, Matthews played college football at Vanderbilt University, where he was a standout receiver in the Southeastern Conference. In four years at Vanderbilt, he amassed impressive statistics, including 262 receptions, 3,759 receiving yards, and 24 touchdowns.
Upon entering the NFL, Matthews quickly established himself as a reliable target for the Eagles, appearing in 16 games in his rookie season and catching 67 passes for 872 yards and 8 touchdowns. He continued to be a productive receiver for the Eagles in the following seasons, setting franchise records for receptions and receiving yards in his first three seasons. In 2018, Matthews was traded to the Buffalo Bills, where he played for one season before joining the San Francisco 49ers in 2019.
Despite his early success in the NFL, Matthews struggled with injuries later in his career, which limited his playing time and production. He retired from football in 2020 at the age of 28, after seven seasons in the NFL. Throughout his career, Matthews was known for his size and strength, as well as his ability to make tough catches in traffic. While his career had its ups and downs, he will be remembered as a talented and dedicated player who made a significant impact on the teams he played for.
