Josh Allen was born on May 21, 1996, in Firebaugh, California. He developed an early interest in football and became one of the most promising high school quarterbacks in California. After graduating from Firebaugh High School, Josh moved to Reedley College to play college football. He later transferred to the University of Wyoming in 2016, where he secured the starting quarterback position.
Josh's college football career was impressive, and he was known for his powerful arm and athletic ability. He led the Wyoming Cowboys to notable victories over some of the best teams in the country, including a 37-31 win over the Central Michigan Chippewas in the 2017 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. Josh set numerous school records during his time at Wyoming, including the single-game passing yard record and the total offense yards record.
Upon finishing college in 2018, Josh entered the NFL draft and was selected seventh overall by the Buffalo Bills. In his rookie season, he played in 12 games, completing 169 of 320 passes for 2074 yards and 10 touchdowns. Josh quickly emerged as the Bills' starting quarterback and has since become an important player for Buffalo. With his strong arm, agility, and accurate throwing, he has helped lead the Bills to their first division title since 1995 and their first playoff victory in 25 years. Josh continues to be one of the rising stars in the NFL, and his impressive football career has already made him a fan favorite.
