Josh Rosen is an American football quarterback who was born on February 10, 1997, in Manhattan Beach, California. Rosen attended St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California, where he played quarterback for the football team. During his senior year, Rosen led his team to the Division I State Championship and was named the MVP of the game. He was also the Gatorade National Football Player of the Year that same year.
After high school, Rosen attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). In his freshman year, he started in all 13 games and became the first true freshman to start as a quarterback in a season opener for UCLA. During his time at UCLA, Rosen set multiple school records, including the most passing yards and touchdowns by a true freshman. He declared for the NFL draft after his junior year, and in 2018, he was selected 10th overall by the Arizona Cardinals.
Since being drafted by the NFL, Rosen has had playing stints with the Cardinals, the Miami Dolphins, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has had a rocky start to his NFL career, but many analysts believe that he has the potential to become a great quarterback in the league. Regardless of his current struggles, Rosen has proven himself to be a talented and dedicated athlete, and many football fans are excited to see what the future holds for this young quarterback.
