Justin Britt is a former American football player who played as a center and guard in the National Football League (NFL). Born on May 29, 1991, in Lebanon, Missouri, he started his football career in high school, where he played for Lebanon High School. In college, he went to the University of Missouri and played for the Missouri Tigers football team. During his college career, he played in 47 games and became a team captain in his senior year. In 2014, Britt was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the NFL Draft, where he became a regular starter on the offensive line. Britt played in 87 games for the Seahawks between 2014 and 2019 and was known for his versatility as a player, playing multiple positions on the offensive line. In 2017, he signed a three-year extension with the team that made him one of the most well-paid centers in the league. In 2020, he signed with the Houston Texans but missed most of the season due to injury and retired from professional football later that year.

During his NFL career, Britt played in two Super Bowls and was named to the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame in 2021. However, he is not just known for his on-field accomplishments, but also for his advocacy work off the field. In 2016, he spoke out against the racial injustice and police brutality in the United States and supported Colin Kaepernick's protest against the national anthem during the NFL games. He also supported various community initiatives and became an ambassador for the NFL's "My Cause, My Cleats" campaign, where players wear special cleats to raise awareness for various causes.
