Karlos Dansby Autographs
Karlos Dansby is a former American football linebacker who played for several NFL teams during his illustrious career. He was born on November 3, 1981, in Birmingham, Alabama. He attended Woodlawn High School, where he played as a linebacker and also excelled in basketball and track. He enrolled at Auburn University in 2000 and played collegiate football for four years.
Dansby was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the second round of the 2004 NFL draft. He played for the team for six years, making 574 tackles, 25 sacks, and 10 interceptions in 92 games. He was known for his hard-hitting play and leadership skills, becoming a defensive stalwart for the Cardinals. In 2010, he signed with the Miami Dolphins as a free agent, where he played for three seasons and was named team captain. He also played for the Cleveland Browns, where he led the team in tackles in 2016, and the Cincinnati Bengals, where he played his final season in 2017.
Dansby was a two-time Pro Bowler and was named first-team All-Pro in 2013. He is also the only player in NFL history to have at least 40 sacks and 20 interceptions in his career. He retired in 2018 after 14 seasons in the NFL, leaving behind a legacy as one of the league's most dominant linebackers. Off the field, Dansby has been recognized for his charitable work, including establishing the Karlos Dansby Foundation, which supports underprivileged youth and their families.
