Kellen Clemens Autographs
Kellen Clemens is a former American football quarterback who had a long and successful career in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on June 6, 1983, in Burns, Oregon, and played his college football at the University of Oregon. Clemens was known for his strong arm, deceptive speed, and hard work, which helped him become a legitimate NFL quarterback.
After a successful college career, Kellen Clemens was selected in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the New York Jets. He spent the first five years of his career with the Jets, mostly as a backup quarterback. However, he got his chance to start in 2007 and played well, throwing for 1,529 yards and five touchdowns. He continued to play backup roles with the Jets until 2010, when he signed with the St. Louis Rams. With the Rams, he enjoyed his best season as a starting quarterback, throwing for 2,214 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2013.
Although Kellen Clemens never became a star quarterback in the NFL, he was always a valuable role player and a respected veteran. He played in 64 NFL games, throwing for 4,017 yards and 16 touchdowns. He retired from the NFL after the 2017 season and went on to become the head football coach at his alma mater, Burns High School, in Oregon. Clemens is remembered as a hard-working, blue-collar quarterback who played the game with passion, determination, and intelligence.
