Kellen Davis Autographs
Kellen Davis is a former American football player who played in the position of tight end in the National Football League (NFL). Born on October 11, 1985, in Adrian, Michigan, Davis attended the Michigan State University, where he played college football for the Spartans for four years. He was selected by the Chicago Bears in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft as the 158th overall pick.
Davis played for the Bears for four seasons, from 2008 to 2011, where he was primarily used as a blocking tight end. He played a crucial role in the Bears' offense, especially in the run game, due to his adeptness in blocking. Davis recorded his first NFL touchdown reception in a game against the Dallas Cowboys in 2010, which helped the Bears clinch the game. In 2012, Davis signed with the Seattle Seahawks, for whom he played a single season. In 2013, he joined the Cleveland Browns, where he played for half a season before his release in December of the same year. In total, Davis played in six seasons in the NFL, recording 50 receptions for 561 yards and 12 touchdowns.
After retiring from the NFL, Davis continued to be associated with the sport as a coach, specifically as a tight ends coach. In 2019, he joined his alma mater, Michigan State University, as a graduate assistant coach, working with the tight ends. Davis has been praised for his work with the team and has expressed his desire to help young players develop their skills and achieve success on and off the field. Apart from coaching, Davis has also been involved in various philanthropic activities, including supporting cancer research and helping underprivileged children.
