Kellen Mond Autographs
Kellen Mond is an American football quarterback who currently plays for the Minnesota Vikings in the National Football League (NFL). Born on June 22, 1999, in San Antonio, Texas, Mond grew up in a football family with his father coaching high school football. He attended San Antonio Reagan High School where he became a highly-rated quarterback prospect in the country. In his senior year, Mond led his team to the state semifinals and was named the All-District Offensive Player of the Year.
Mond went on to play college football at Texas A&M University from 2017 to 2020. He was the starting quarterback for the Aggies for three seasons, during which he established himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). In his junior year, Mond led Texas A&M to a 9-1 record and a top-five ranking in the AP Poll. He finished his college career with 9,661 passing yards, 71 touchdowns, and 27 interceptions. Mond's performance earned him a selection by the Minnesota Vikings in the third round of the 2021 NFL draft.
In his rookie season in the NFL, Mond has yet to make his debut for the Vikings, but he is widely regarded as a potential franchise quarterback. With his strong arm, accuracy, and mobility, he has the tools to succeed at the highest level. Mond will have to compete with veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins for the starting job but has already shown flashes of his potential in training camp and preseason games.
