Ken Dorsey Autographs
Ken Dorsey was born on April 22, 1981, in Orinda, California. He attended Miramonte High School and later played college football at the University of Miami as their quarterback. Dorsey led the team to an undefeated season in 2001, and they won the National Championship that year. He was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy and a two-time winner of the Maxwell Award.
After a successful college career, Dorsey was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the seventh round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He played for the 49ers from 2003 to 2006, primarily as a backup to starting quarterback Tim Rattay. In 2007, he signed with the Cleveland Browns and was reunited with offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski, who was his offensive coordinator at Miami. He only played in two games and was later released in 2008. Dorsey was signed by the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL in 2009 but never played a game due to an injury.
After his playing career, Dorsey became a quarterbacks coach for the Carolina Panthers in 2013. He was then hired as an offensive assistant for the Panthers in 2018 and was promoted to quarterbacks coach in 2019. In 2020, he was hired as the Buffalo Bills' quarterbacks coach. Dorsey's experiences as a player and coach have given him extensive knowledge of the game, and he continues to make a significant impact on the football world.
