Ken Ellis Autographs
Ken Ellis was a former professional American football player born on December 1, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended the Southern University, where he played for the school's football team as a defensive back, and made a name for himself. Ellis was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the second round (28th overall) of the 1965 NFL Draft, where he played for eight seasons before joining the Dallas Cowboys in 1973.
Ellis played as a cornerback, and his speed and agility on the field made him one of the best ball hawks in the league. He was known for his spectacular interceptions and his incredible knack for reading and anticipating the quarterback's throw. Throughout his career, Ellis received numerous accolades for his exceptional performance on the field, including two Pro Bowl selections (1968, 1969) and a First-Team All-Pro selection in 1969.
After his retirement, Ellis became a successful businessman, owning and operating several grocery stores and gas stations. Unfortunately, Ken Ellis passed away on October 2, 2009, at the age of 66, but he will always be remembered as one of the most talented defenders in the NFL history. His contribution to the sport of football will never be forgotten, and he will always be a legend in the hearts of fans and players alike.
