In 1992, Kent Graham was drafted in the eighth round of the NFL Draft by the New York Giants. He started his career as a backup quarterback but eventually became the starter for the Giants in 1995. Graham took over the starting role after quarterback Dave Brown went down with an injury and led the Giants to several key victories, including a 20-10 win over the Dallas Cowboys in the team's final game of the season. He was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance. In 1997, Graham was traded to the Arizona Cardinals where he started 26 games over the course of two seasons. After retiring from playing football, he became a high school football coach and currently serves as the head coach at Oasis Christian Academy in Cape Coral, Florida.

Throughout his career, Kent Graham was known for his strong arm and accuracy as a passer. He threw for a total of 7,801 yards, 39 touchdowns, and 33 interceptions. His most memorable game was arguably the aforementioned win over the Cowboys in 1995, which helped the Giants clinch a playoff berth. Graham retired after the 2001 season and has since shifted his focus to coaching, where he has become renowned for his ability to develop young quarterbacks.
