Kevin Dyson Autographs
Kevin Dyson is a former American football player who was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the first round of the 1998 NFL Draft. Born on June 23, 1975, in Utah, Kevin began playing football during his high school years at Clearfield High School in Clearfield, Utah. He then went on to attend the University of Utah and played football for the Utes from 1994 to 1997.
Kevin Dyson is best known for his incredible skill on the field, especially his spectacular catch in Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000. The catch, known as the "Music City Miracle," was one of the most iconic plays in NFL history. With just seconds left in the game and the Titans down 23-16 to the Buffalo Bills, Dyson received a lateral from teammate Frank Wycheck on a kickoff return and took it 75 yards for a touchdown to tie the game. The Titans would ultimately lose in heartbreaking fashion, but Dyson's catch remains a shining moment in his football career.
Dyson played in the NFL for six seasons, spending five of them with the Titans and one with the Carolina Panthers. In his career, he caught 178 receptions for 2,325 yards and 18 touchdowns. After retiring from football, Dyson became a motivational speaker and co-founded the Kevin Dyson Foundation, which helps provide educational opportunities for underprivileged children. He also went on to coach football at the high school level, continuing to inspire and guide young athletes in their football careers.
