Kevin Greene Autographs
Kevin Greene was one of the most dominant American football players of his time. Born on July 31, 1962, he grew up in Schenectady, New York, and went on to play college football at Auburn University. After college, he was drafted into the National Football League by the Los Angeles Rams in 1985. Over his 15-year career, Greene played for four different teams, including the Rams, Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Panthers, and the San Francisco 49ers.
At 6-foot-3 and 247 pounds, Kevin Greene earned a reputation as a fierce pass rusher who could put constant pressure on the quarterback. During his 15 seasons in the NFL, Greene amassed 160 sacks, which puts him third on the all-time NFL sack list behind Bruce Smith and Reggie White. His best season came in 1996 while playing for the Carolina Panthers, where he recorded 14.5 sacks and helped lead the team to the NFC Championship Game.
After retiring from the NFL in 1999, Kevin Greene went on to become a defensive line coach for several NFL teams, including the Green Bay Packers, New York Jets, and most recently with the New York Giants. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016 and remained a beloved icon in the sport until his untimely death in December 2020. Overall, Kevin Greene was a fierce competitor on the field and a true legend of the game.
