Kevin Ogletree was born on August 5, 1987, in Queens, New York. He attended Holy Cross High School in Queens, where he started his football career as a wide receiver. In his senior year, he recorded 27 receptions for 560 yards and eight touchdowns. Ogletree's athletic abilities were evident, and he earned a scholarship to play football at the University of Virginia.
During his college career, Ogletree put on impressive displays on the field. He recorded 120 receptions for 1694 yards and nine touchdowns in four seasons. Ogletree's performances caught the attention of the Dallas Cowboys, who signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2009. During his five seasons in Dallas, Ogletree put on consistent performances, recording over 500 receiving yards in 2012. He continued to hone his skills with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2014 and the New York Giants in 2015. In total, he played in 63 NFL games, recording 95 receptions for 1,374 yards and six touchdowns.
Today, Kevin Ogletree is retired from professional football and works as an analyst and commentator for ESPN. He is also a certified personal trainer and works with young athletes to help them sharpen their athletic abilities. Ogletree's football career may be over, but his passion for the game lives on, and he continues to inspire aspiring football players with his dedication and love for the sport.
