Kevin Ross Autographs
Kevin Ross is a former American football cornerback who played in the National Football League (NFL) from 1984 to 1997. He was born on September 6, 1962, in Kansas City, Missouri, and attended the University of Temple, where he played college football. Ross was known for his physical style of play and exceptional ball skills, which enabled him to become one of the best cornerbacks of his era.
In 1984, Ross entered the NFL as a seventh-round draft pick by the Kansas City Chiefs. He quickly established himself as a solid player, earning the nickname "Rock" for his fearless demeanor on the field. Ross became a starter for the Chiefs in his second season and would go on to play 11 seasons for Kansas City. He was a four-time Pro Bowler and a two-time All-Pro selection during his time with the Chiefs. Ross also set a team record with nine interceptions in 1986, which still stands to this day.
After leaving the Chiefs in 1994, Ross played for the Atlanta Falcons and San Diego Chargers before retiring in 1997. He finished his career with 38 interceptions, 11 fumble recoveries, and seven defensive touchdowns. Ross also had a successful coaching career, serving as a defensive backs coach for various NFL teams, including the San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders, and Arizona Cardinals.
