Kevin Walter is a former American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL) from 2003 to 2013. He was born on November 22, 1981, in Lake Forest, Illinois, and attended Eastern Michigan University, where he played college football. In the 2003 NFL Draft, the New York Giants picked him in the seventh round, but he was quickly waived. In his NFL career, Kevin Walter played for four teams: the Cincinnati Bengals (2003–2005), Houston Texans (2006–2012), Tennessee Titans (2013), and the Indianapolis Colts (2013). He is famously known for his time with the Houston Texans, where he played for six seasons and set several franchise records. Walter was a reliable receiver as he played in all 16 games in five of his ten NFL seasons. In 2008, he recorded a career-best 899 receiving yards and also scored eight touchdowns that year.
