Kodi Burns Autographs
Kodi Burns is a former American football quarterback and current wide receivers coach at Auburn University. Born on October 1, 1988, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Kodi grew up playing football and excelling in it from a very young age. He went on to attend Auburn University where he played college football for four years under coach Gene Chizik.
As a college football player, Kodi played multiple positions including quarterback, wide receiver, and wildcat quarterback. He was known for his versatility and was a crucial part of Auburn's 2010 BCS National Championship win. He completed 1,000 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, 47 receptions, and 7 total touchdowns during his time with the Tigers. In 2010, Kodi's role in the team was reduced, but he remained an important part of the team as a pass-catcher and as a leader on the field.
After his college football career, Kodi signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He remained with the team for just two seasons before moving on to play for the Canadian Football League team, Edmonton Eskimos in 2014. Kodi retired from football in 2016 but quickly transitioned into coaching. He began his coaching career at Samford University in 2016 as a grad assistant and was then hired as the wide receivers coach at Auburn University in 2019. Kodi's love for football has remained strong even after his retirement, and he continues to have a significant impact on the game through coaching.
