Lache Seastrunk is an American former professional football player who made a name for himself as a star running back during his time at Baylor University. Born on July 29, 1991 in Temple, Texas, Seastrunk attended Temple High School where he became a top-ranked running back in the nation. In 2010, he committed to the University of Oregon but later transferred to Baylor in 2011.
Seastrunk's college football career at Baylor was nothing short of spectacular as he racked up 2,189 rushing yards, 18 touchdowns, and averaged 7.6 yards per carry during his two seasons with the team. He also received numerous accolades, including being named to the All-Big 12 Conference First Team in 2013. After his impressive college career, Seastrunk decided to enter the 2014 NFL Draft and was selected by the Washington Redskins in the sixth round.
Although his professional career was short-lived, Seastrunk's exceptional performances in college cemented his legacy as a standout football player. Despite being waived by the Redskins in 2015, he continued to pursue his dream of playing in the NFL and joined the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad later that year. However, he ultimately decided to retire from the sport in 2017, stating that he wanted to focus on his family and future ventures.
