Larry Rountree Autographs
Larry Rountree III is an American football running back who played for the University of Missouri. Rountree was born on January 27, 1999, in North Carolina, and was raised in North Carolina, where he attended Millbrook High School in Raleigh. He was a three-star running back recruit and was ranked as the 71st best running back in the class of 2017 by 247Sports.
Rountree, who stands at 5'10", started his college football career at the University of Missouri in 2017. In his freshman year, Rountree played in all 13 games, starting in six, and recorded 703 rushing yards on 126 carries with six touchdowns. He then continued to be a key player for Missouri throughout his college career, rushing for a total of 4,129 yards and scoring 40 touchdowns in four seasons. During his four years at Missouri, he was named to the First-team All-SEC twice and was selected as the SEC co-Freshman of the Year in 2017.
In 2021, Rountree signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent. He had a strong preseason with the Chargers, but was released during the final round of cuts for the 53-man roster. However, the Chargers quickly signed Rountree to their practice squad. With his versatility as a running back and his ability to be a pass catcher, Rountree has shown potential to be a valuable asset for the Chargers in the future.
